I’ll Sleep on It

If you were almost creeped out at how familiar this bedroom appeared to you at first, don’t be ashamed.  Carrie Bradshaw’s life on the hit HBO series, ‘Sex and the City,’ undoubtedly impacted hordes of women, myself certainly included.  That’s why, on Saturday, when I visited Bloomingdale’s one-day home sale, it was Carrie’s bed that came to mind when picking out something that would fit my decor.  Though I had originally hoped to find crisp bedding trimmed with a simple border, that look is far too Upper East Side, if you will, versus my flea-market inspired apartment.  Though I ultimately walked out of the sale empty handed, I at least have more of an idea of what it is I’m looking for, at least when it comes to my bed.
