{Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry, Bouchon and Ad Hoc at Home}

This weekend I have no set plans and I couldn’t be happier to take care of some things around my place. A while back I ordered three of Thomas Keller’s cookbooks and I finally have time to flip through the pages and mark all of the recipes I intend to make. Since the official start of fall is less than a week away, I’m already looking forward to finding some comfort food to try out. First up this weekend: Buttermilk Fried Chicken.

i have the ad hoc at home cookbook and i absolutely love it!
i tried the scallops recipe a few weeks ago and it was so simple and delicious. kiwi was very impressed!

The buttermilk fried chicken from ad hoc is phenomenal! Paired with the cream style corn and potato hash, it’s even more amazing. Good luck!

I’m ashamed to say I’ve owned The French Laundry Cookbook for a couple years now and have yet to make a single recipe from it! I’m so bad. But I love browsing through it, makes for a great read even if you don’t cook from it!

Bouchon is one of my favorite bakeries … their macaroons are to die for and I try to head up to Napa at least once a month however I have to eat at the restaurant. The French Laundry cookbook is incredible!!! My good friend suggested your blog to me and I am absolutely loving it … it is a sweet read and very inspiring! CHEERS!
