{A glossy Greyhound now lives in the middle of our fireplace}
We’ve had all of the necessities in our place for a while (a couch, dining room table, etc.), but it’s the little details that take the longest to figure out. My office (seen here and here) is close to being complete, but our walls are still almost entirely bare everywhere else. Luckily two of the trickiest spots (the little nook by our front door and the space in our fireplace) are now filled. I found the Greyhound at Room Service (a recent discovery/obsession) and the bust at the flea market for $10.

{Bottles in sea glass greens now hold candles in the middle of our table}

{My Hellenic bust fits perfectly in the nook by the front door}

{Contrasting pillows in olive green, robin’s egg blue and gold}

{A rickety chair that I plan on transforming}

I also love your interior design photos. And I can’t believe that it’s actually your home! It looks like a house that could be in a architecture/interior design magazine.
Wow, the greyhound and the bust certainly were the finds of the new year! Congrats they are beautiful.
i’m kind of obsessed with the greyhound! i’m having the same problem filling wall space, but I definitely think it’s worth taking the time to find what you really adore!

You have to tell us where those pillows are from. I’m in the process of moving out and am trying to determine my color palette. That robins egg blue and gold just nailed it for me!
The pillows are my favorite…I’m a sucker for mismatched patterns, especially when one of those patterns is chevron!

The ‘candle holders’ are so cute. Something like those would look cute on my studio windowsill

I’m not sure about that dog, remings me of the one in Friends series.
I know what you mean about one’s home office never being quite finished…
I started looking for a really great desk…and now I have 5 of them…yes, 5 of them…one is a huge frosted sheet of tempered glass atop a chrome frame and is 6 feet long…and I enjoy and use them all, but it is a perpetual taunt to get each corner just right…
Thankfully, women like to shop
Best,

looks like you’re off to a great start! can’t wait to see it all come together.
I love the greyhound! And the bust is perfect!! Excellent finds! ox
the dog statue from FRIENDS!!!!
I love the neutral but yummy color/print combination of that pile of pillows you selected- you should look in grain sack pillows too, my favorite new trend. They offer a similar look with unique faded color combinations and texture. Great Post!

One day I will have a ceramic greyhound…..one day.
Just an FYI, I’ve seen that exact (or almost exact) ceramic greyhound at TJMaxx for a mere $25. Check your local store…
