Holiday Party How-To: Part 2

party-shoes.jpg

Following yesterday’s post on affordable holiday dresses (in the first installment of my three-part series), I’ve rounded up six pairs of shoes that won’t break the bank.  Whether you’re attending a ritzy ball or a casual cocktail party, these have just the right amount of detailing to put a skip in your step.

T-Strap: Chinese Laundry All In, $70.  The three muted colors merge seamlessly on these festive sandals.

Preppy: Seychelles On The Wire, $100.  I love the idea of pairing these sexy-librarian-meets-Bohemian-Goddess pumps with some super opaque tights.

Muted Gold: Nina Undine, $99.  These shoes have just the right amount of glitz, without being overdone in an amazingly flattering shape.

Edgy: TopShop Studded Peep Toe, $125.  These rocker booties would be the perfect complement to a feminine dress.

Patent Pump: Mia Diva, $55.  In this deep wine hue, these patent pumps will make legs look miles long.

Strappy Silver: Enzo Angiolini Holling Evening Sandal, $98.  I’d paint my toes in a bright red polish before throwing on these sexy sandals.

Coming tomorrow: Accessories

SG adores patent heels recently. depending on outfits, they can be so dressy or casual.

Those shoes are hot! Love the green ones.

I am a total victim when it comes to gorgeous wooden platforms like on those green numbers. I love how they make every outfit just a little bit cooler without feeling over the top. I wore a similarly styled pair for my wedding at City Hall in manhattan, only they were purple patent leather. LOVE!

I love the patent pumps! So basic, but great for most any outfit.

I love that classic patent pump. I think you’re right about how flattering it would be to the legs.
