Holiday Glow
When my apartment is all done up in holiday decorations, I sometimes consider leaving them up for the entire year. The glittering lights and spicy scents are so welcoming, but I suppose it wouldn’t feel quite as appropriate in June. I can’t wait for the rainy weekend and as a special treat, I have a give-away scheduled for this Sunday, so please stop by.
Also, check out my go-to hairstyle for parties here for my last post on Lucky!

Wow! It looks amazing… and the coffee seems to be calling my name.
Hey, why do you think they created “Christmas in July”?! So you can decorate year-round…just don’t leave lights up on your house! hehe
Christmas is just really the best time. There is no other feeling in the world that compares to the feeling you get at Christmas – it’s a feeling I wish I could bottle up.
Beautiful photos, beautiful decorations. I love a simple tree. Every year, I kinda wish I could keep my tree for a few more months, too… Or the whole year
the photos are just breathtaking! you put me in a holiday mood in a second! thank you for that!
oooohl.. I am in the process of making a gingerbread house too!!! yours looks sooo lovely!
I have to agree with you on the decorations.. Sometimes I can just sit there and stare all day with this sense of relaxation that overcomes me. Greats pics.. Love your wreath!

Your decor is too pretty! I love all the little details!
Oh, I love the silver pine cones — what a great idea! I have been racking my brains trying to come up with an inexpensive centerpiece for my table, and there are pinecones everywhere! Time to gather some up…
I love all the decorations! awww.
Check out my Givenchy and Zanottis at http://www.fashionsnag.com!
That’s a cute gingerbread house!

love it! especially the silver pine cones! so chic.
Such pretty, simple decorations – exactly what Christmas should be! Sometimes I wish I could leave holiday decorations up all year round too! Enjoy your cozy weekend!
I love holiday traditions especially the aromas and lights. The pine cones are cute. The festive coffee is a must!

looks so cozy and warm!
So pretty! And I agree about wanting to leave the tree up longer. One year I actually did wait until the end of January to take it down–just so I could enjoy my little winter wonderland a little longer.

the gingerbread house looks lovely! festive and pretty photos…especially looking forward to the starbucks christmas specisl each year.
lovely photos.

Thanks for putting me back in the Christmas spirit! It had left me for awhile. I can’t wait for the rainy weekend either!
I think year around Christmas lights are fine! Especially if they are white!
LOVE the silver pine cones. There is nothing better than bringing the outdoors in.
It looks adorable.. Even though California is not so “Christmasy” (as in snow), your home manages to make it look so perfect for the season.
By the way, I’ve got an awesome Perricone MD kit to give away. Don’t miss it!
I love the nonpareils on your gingerbread house!! And nothing is better than hot Starbucks and cozying up inside on a chilly day. We’re getting our tree this weekend:)
Silver pine cones in a jar and white garland on the mirror. So quaint. I absolutely love the photographs you post, Emily.
Gorgeous photos! That gingerbread house is amazing. I love the candy canes round the door!
I’m with you…the christmas tree lit up at night is so relaxing and makes such a beautiful addition to the room…every year i wait until the last possible minute (before the tree shrivels up) to take it down!
Very fitting title for an appropriate blog, I’m loving the silver (:
Love the decorations. I too would love to leave them up all year. But then my dog would just drive me to drink…more!
Love that natural wreath! It’s so simple and lovely.
As a Seattlite, I certainly admire the addition of the Starbucks cup. The red cups definitely add to the holiday spirit.

Lovely decorations and I love your hair on the Lucky post.
This was such a lovely post, made me melt and wish for the Holidays to stay around longer!
