Free People Sunglasses, American Apparel Velvet Twist Scarf, J.Crew Collared Shirt and Belt, Vintage Sequined Jacket, Zara Skirt (last seen HERE), H&M Tights, YSL Heels

The day after Christmas is always jolting.  After a month-long buildup, the transition back to a normal routine seems so drastic and abrupt.  We had a wonderful time this past weekend with our families; even if we did forget to have anything prepared for breakfast on Christmas morning.   Our place was filled with people the whole weekend, and for the first time, it truly felt like we were home.  The rest of our time was spent shopping (I found a great pair of flat boots), exploring unfamiliar parts of L.A. and finding new restaurants to call our own.

    Great outfit! I agree with the above comment, it is really funny to see you in a cute skirt and no coat when I’ve got about 18 inches of snow outside. My brother narrowly missed the blizzard when returning home to sunny LA this weekend.

    Here (in Belgium) there was so much snow, half our family didn’t even make it for Christmas eve. Every great outfit I’m wearing is finished with snowboots, which isn’t very elegant, as you can imagine :p

    Hey there
    Sounds like you had a great christmas. In NZ our christmas is in summer so i thought i would give you a recipe that we use for marshmallows at christmas. It called ambrosia. It has 2 500g tubs of berry flavoured greek yoghurt. 300 mls of lightly whipped cream.. 800g of boysenberries and 300g of marshmallows. All you do is mix them in a big bowl together and chill for a couple of hours. It feeds a crowd and always seems to please.

    I have to be honest. I find the headscarf buldge, well, weird. I’m also NOT a fashionista!
