Hawt Dog

If, and when, you’re in Los Angeles, Marty D’s should not be missed. Here are some reasons why:
-Old-school soda fountain
-Incredibly nice staff (Marty himself invited us in!)
-Great selection of condiments (including spicy and sweet mustards, homemade dill relish and onion compote)
-8-inch beef kosher dogs served in a warm, poppy-seed buns
-Candy apple-colored bar
-Premium ice cream and homemade hot fudge (ignore the part on the menu that says to order it if you’re not too hungry though…it’s big).
-Perfectly crisp regular and sweet potato fries
We left the diner excruciatingly full, but we’re already planning a trip back sometime very soon.

That hot dog looks amazing! Love the old school charm of that place, next time I’m in LA to visit my sister I’ll for sure stop on in.

I came here for the fashion but this hot dog post got me… I am originally from Chicago … miss hot dogs …. good hot dogs… now I know where to go for them when I am in LA

I go crazy for old fashion diners like this one. We have one in Boca I like to visit occasionally, that’s an old fashioned Ice Cream parlour! =]

Oh man, this looks like reason enough to take a trip to L.A! The thought of hot fudge is WAY more appealing than the chicken and quinoa I just ate for lunch…
