Haunted Home

{Moss gives the entryway antique chandelier an eerie feel}
There’s almost nothing I find more exciting than decorating our place for Halloween. This year I’ve had so little time to dedicate to my favorite holiday (between my blog, my book, and upcoming wedding), but I finally got around to it earlier this week. Here’s a glimpse at how it’s come together thus far and you can see years past here and here.
{A black crow peeks out from the bookcase}

{A coat of glossy spray paint elevates miniature pumpkins}
{A side table tray gets a weathered look with cobwebs}
{Spiders descending on the bust in the entryway}

love your halloween decors, creepy yet stylish!!! haha! Good job Emily!!!

Oh my goodness – this is great! Were you decorating for a certain social occasion or is that how you’ll have your home until Halloween? I think I’d be creeped out at night – especially by those spiders!

Your fiance is a seriously lucky man! He’s so fortunate to be marrying you- a woman of all trades. Best of luck to all your wedding preparation. If you can make your home look so wonderful, I’m sure your wedding will turn out fantastic, too!

Aww this makes me miss your Halloween/Fall Party.
Come to Norcal for a fall play date soon!
I love your decorations Emily, I truly miss that from living in the US! In Europe we celebrate Halloween in a much more “low-key” fashion, oh how I miss the true Halloween vibe! Have a lovely weekend. x

Elegantly Scary!
What cute Halloween decorating ideas! I’m not a fan of anything too gory or gross looking, so I love the idea of decorating with moss and painting mini pumpkins gold. So cute and chic!
