June 11th, 2010

I’ve never known how to sleep in.   It’s served me well the majority of the time since I’m usually up before my alarm, but waking up before it’s officially light outside has its disadvantages.  This past week has finally caught up to me and I can’t wait to relax in the form of morning naps (they’re acceptable when you don’t sleep in), grilling on our new barbecue and reading the magazines that I had bought for my plane rides.   Most of all, I’m happy to be back home with nothing planned for days.  Have a great weekend.

I just bought linen sheets for the first time and am looking forward to finding out if all the hype is true. I must say, they make my bed look like a professional photograph – the texture and weight of them is beautiful. White linen sheets in the sunlight . . . dreamy!

Up to this point I have been quite the opposite… I had NO problem sleeping in!! This year however, I am waking up early and be productive all day… someone said to me “welcome to adulthood!” I guess it’s about time since I’m turning 30 this year! :-)
    Cheers!

i feel the same. i got done with my final exams yesterday, and woke up at 8:30 today for no reason. i was planning to sleep in until 11, but those plans fell through.

i suppose waking up early automatically can never be a bad thing! like you said, morning naps are always an option, and even if you don’t feel like taking a nap, you have the whole day to do things! it always works out.

    I love stress-free weekends too.

Just wanted to say that I LOVE your blog (stumbled upon it this past year), and it has served as a very good distraction from law school studying.

Also LOVE your bag- I look at it online every day, but alas, being a student means I cannot afford it!

There’s nothing like being back home in your own comfy bed! And naps are perfectly acceptable – take my 4 hour nap today, for instance – stayed up far too late last night!
