Gloomy Afternoons in Coffee Shops
Gifted Coach Trench and Bag, Joie Top, H&M Skirt and Headband, Miu Miu Shoes, Vintage Earrings and Ring
I practically lived out of my luggage this past weekend, since the only time I spent at home was to sleep. The wedding in Malibu was spectacular and my legs are still sore from the hours spent on the dance floor. It was my first time as a bridesmaid and let’s just say that I have a whole new appreciation for waterproof mascara. By Sunday afternoon things calmed down a bit and I was able to enjoy the gloomy weather by ducking into a cafe for a coffee and dessert.

I’m sure that this will be the first of many, many times that you will be a bridesmaid. For a period of 3 or 4 years I was in about 10 weddings and never mind the number of weddings where we were simply guests. If anyone can do it, you will definitely be the one who can find a way to recycle all of those bridesmaid dresses!

The earrings, the trench, the headband…for some reason remind me of the Broadway show, “Sunset Blvd”….although she’d probably wear one of those long silk robes…regardless…all very old school Hollywood glamour! Being a bridesmaid is definitely WORK, but always very satisfying!!
