I was so excited when Glamour asked me to style and model a denim look for their August issue, alongside some of my favorite blogs. Here’s a peek at the outfit I put together (with a Zara striped top and high-waisted True Religion jeans).

Good for you Emily! I can’t imagine how much work and dedication went into the recognition and privileges that are finally coming your way! I stopped reading magazines for a while because they were making me feel like I needed more more more! Maybe Julia and A. need to take a little breaky from blogs for a while… They are meant to inspire, just like magazine editorials. And they should keep it all in perspective… Enjoy your success!

I was elated to see my favorite blogger in the August edition. I especially enjoyed your answer about what street fashion is so important and I completely agree that it is important to see how people look without the stylists behind them. I often think find that is where the real beauty of people/fashion come out.

Someone may have mentioned this already, but your site is also mentioned in this month’s People’s magazine StyleWatch. They had a little tear out pamphlet titled Your Personal Style Guide! On page 3 under “Sites To Inspire You” , the comment is Cruise through tons of fun snapshots for cute outfit ideas, etc…And you have inspired me to start my own similar blog here in Maine (about as far from the west coast as you can get Thank you Emily for your inspiring site.
