Girls Weekend
This weekend my boyfriend’s climbing Mt. Whitney while little Luna and I will be holding down the fort in L.A. I never like spending weekends apart, but sometimes I think missing each other is also kind of nice. Luckily nearly every minute is booked full of fun little activities with my girlfriends, including a brunch that I’m hosting (I plan on using up my cherry tomatoes that are bursting with flavor), a gin tasting party (my three favorites below) and a trip to a nearby park to lie out and nap in the sun (with hats, plenty of glasses and some good music).

Lucky you, I rarely see my girlfriends now.
I normally feel the same way about the bf leaving for a weekend, but he’s been gone a week and there’s something liberating about being able to sleep by myself (on the couch watching a plethora of Disney shows, that is). The more gin you consume the faster it will pass by!

me and my boyf broke up a week before we were meant to be going on holiday, so i’ve been going through a hard time….luckily the rents paid for me to be added to their hol and i’ve had all my best friends looking after me n keeping me busy.

the mt. whitney climb is amazing
i did it last year and am doing it again next year, the best is dong the back rout via the John Muir Trail, its longer but the beauty factor is totally worth it.
It’s already turning kind of autumny over here in Detroit, with the leaves changing and the nights getting down into the 50′s. No more sunbathing for me!

I send my boyfriend off to his buddy’s place at least once a month so I can have the condo to myself! I love the quiet and the chance to write, uninterrupted. The next day, we always have fun stories to relate back to each other

my boyfriend is gone this weekend too, i hate the time apart! i do like how happy i am to see him when he/i return but still, its so lonely when you’re used to living with the person AND working with the person!
I believe that spending time away from my husband once in awhile keeps me sane. I love him and love spending time with him but I also love sharing new experiences and observations with him and missing him.
I know how you feel about being apart, my bf is living on the other coast!
