Vintage Dress and Aviators, Zara Blazer, Forever 21 Belt, Alberta Ferretti Sandals

When I first saw this studded blazer in the window display at Zara, I was convinced that they would all be sold out.  Somehow I managed to score what could be the most perfect boyfriend blazer with detailing along the lapels that is surprisingly feminine.  Although it was the first hot summer night in L.A., I still needed a light cover-up once the sun went down and it paired nicely with this lacy dress.

  1. ok, I completely love this look and wish I had it in my closet right now! it would be so great for going out or for the wedding I have to go to next month! eek, I want to buy a new dress but I’m not sure what to get… and, as my mom kindly informed me, I already have a bunch of dresses I could wear. what is it with weddings I always feel the need to buy a new dress!?!

either way, I always appreciate your inspiration.

  4. what a beautiful lace dress; the juxtaposition of it against the studded blazer is stunning!

  25. Dear Emily, it’s a lovely dress. What does it mean “Vintage dress”? Is Vintage the name of the brand? I discovered your blog thanks to an interview at El Comercio online (www.elcomercio.pe).
