Cupcakes and Cashmere

Food Week

{An assortment of miniature cupcakes}

Since I don’t have access to a kitchen while I’m in New York (that’s not a complaint), I’ve been making a point to break from fashion obligations to try out some of the city’s best culinary creations.  Here are just a few of the decadent dishes I’ve enjoyed since I arrived.   Not pictured: three late-night pizza runs, two mid-day hot dogs and one chocolate lava cake that I finished before remembering to taking out my camera.

{Salmon-wrapped Poached Eggs}

{Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee}

{Vanilla Bean French Toast with Chicken Sausage}

{Summer Rose Mimosa with Coffee}

{Grilled corn}

    All of that looks simply divine. I’ve been trying to step it up in the cooking and baking department, and have been making some valiant efforts, but I think I need to start eating out more and taking part of yummy meals like those.
