H&M Top, Urban Outfitters Skirt, Marc Jacobs Bag, Seychelles Heels, Vintage Jewelry

Ever since my realization last week that there are essentially no prints in my closet, I’ve been trying to incorporate them into my daily outfits.  This H&M top is such a fun departure from my other blouses and it only seemed appropriate to pair it with my girliest skirt.  I’m still trying to figure out its proportions since the sleeves billow out at the slightest gust of wind, but it’s hard to deny its mood-boosting effect.

Adorable.

10 SHOPJNSQ { 02.04.10 at 2:05 am }

You look incredible in that outfit, so gorgeous! I absolutely love it. :)

12 Peaches and Cream { 02.04.10 at 2:26 am }

I’m not waiting for spring, I am obsessed with florals already. Floral with everything! I like to wear them with contrasting patterns and tough detailing, but if you’re just starting to wear them maybe you should take it slow ;-) I can’t believe I used to hate florals!
ps Choc-coated honeycomb is my fave, you need to try Violet Crumble – it’s an Australian one and it’s the best.

13 French Lover { 02.04.10 at 2:26 am }

That skirt is incredibly pretty. I can’t wait for spring in Paris so I can start wearing colors again :)

I am a little bit in love with your shoes. And with the glorious sunshine you seem to be having over there. All my heels will have to stay hidden away a little longer – there’s still snow on the ground here in Scotland.

38 Christina { 02.04.10 at 6:57 am }

Wow, it almost looks like something you could wear on vacation, but spiffy enough for every day use. I love the way you paired it with the skirt. It looks like the flowers are just continuing on the back.

You look beautiful as always and love those pieces. Since you’re trying to figure out ways to wear the top, maybe try it tucked into high-waisted jeans or belted with skinny ones?

So, so pretty, Em. This is honestly one of my favorite outfits of yours. I love florals and especially pairing mismatched florals together. I’ve been making them more for FR lately because I feel like they look great on everyone if you find the right pattern and cut. Also, you look very happy in the last pic:)

65 Michelle { 02.04.10 at 10:18 am }

Hahah I’ve recently realized the exact same thing about my closet. I’m going to try to incorporate more prints + patterns when I dress.

76 Kate { 02.04.10 at 12:08 pm }

I love this outfit and almost all of your looks. I’m definitely inspired to wear delicate florals this spring. I just feel like in my small town, wearing very fashion forward outfits, even ones are cute as yours, stand OUT and end up coming off weird rather than fashionable. I’m trying to change that though! I can’t wait to start spring shopping!

77 Emma { 02.04.10 at 12:25 pm }

love love your look!
