Yesterday I pulled up my very first Five Things post (here), as a way to rekindle the motivation behind starting the series in the first place. With all of the buzz [read: craziness] surrounding the upcoming holiday season, I’ve found myself getting overwhelmed, and needed a reminder to appreciate those simple moments. My first step was turning off my computer at a normal hour to meet up with a friend for dinner at a new taco shop I’d been wanting to try. After a generous helping of guacamole, tacos, and beer, I felt reinvigorated and ready to embrace this wonderfully hectic time of year.
