{My candy corn sugar cookies – recipe here}

Weekends are always a welcomed break, but I’m especially excited about this one. We’re throwing an intimate costume party tomorrow night – equipped with plenty of dry ice, spiked punch, and lots of sweet treats. My costume is nearly finished, but my fiancé has yet to finalize his (he’s debating between Donnie Darko or Nick Nolte’s mug shot), but regardless it should be a pretty good time. Have a great weekend!

    I have a blanket just like this from Pottery Barn that I purchased a few years back…one of my favorite purchases ever!

    Holy WOW. I love the color scheme you presented in your favorite things.
    And the candy corn cookies are absolutely adorable. This may be my favorite of your “5 things” posts.
    I also have done the picture frames- picked them up at a thrift store, spray painted and sanded the edges for shabby chic. So in right now.

    Mmm, I wish it weren’t past Halloween, because I’d be making those cookies this weekend! Imagine those for Christmas; red, green & white. That would look super cute.
    That faux chinchilla throw looks oh so comfortable.
