Five Things

June 10th, 2011

{Ice cubes + fresh mint =  refreshing addition to summer drinks}

Despite the fact that I went to two farmers’ markets this past week, we only made one home-cooked meal. I blame it on the Chipotle that’s located a few blocks away, which we’ve single handedly kept in business. I’m changing that this weekend by crossing off one of the things on my summer to-do list (making jam) and baking something to accompany it.

{New watery blue skirts from American Apparel}

{A belated birthday gift that’s desperate for a colorful cover}

{Laundry time with Luna. We’ve had her for two years this weekend.}

{The sweet bowl where I keep my engagement ring}

    Luna is a beautiful cat, I would love to own a black cat once I move out.
    Those ice cubes are such a neat idea, perhaps lemon or orange wedges would work too? But cut up into tiny pieces of course.

    I always mean to do mint or berry ice cubes but never get around to it! Inspiration to do it next summer (its rainy, cold and dismal in Sydney).
    Very jealous of the ipad!

    Mint leaves in ice cubes is inspired! Also loved it when you used raspberries as well! Such a fantastic idea for summer! This may be an indiscreet question, but don’t you wear your engagement ring most of the time?
