Were you one of those kids that insisted on wearing your new shoes right out of the store? Had it not been for the sweet sunburn that wrapped around my ankles, I would have changed into these booties immediately after my purchase. My patience paid off though, since my multi-colored pink heels completely brightened up an otherwise dreary day. I’m looking forward to wearing them with bare legs a la Alix, of The Cherry Blossom Girl, but my opaque tights offered some much needed cushioning for my scalded skin.
