Falling for Autumn: Part 2

August 24th, 2010

As a follow-up to last week’s post (here), I’ve compiled a few more of my must-haves for fall.  While some of them are a bit exorbitant (like a sweater that’s nearly $600), those are the kinds of pieces that inspire me to find more affordable options.   I’ll be in New York in just over two weeks for Fashion Week (I’ll be speaking here) and I would be content if just one night would require a crisp blazer and maybe a thin knit for an early morning walk.

1. Topshop Petite Leopard Fur Coat, $190
2. K Jacques St Tropaz Caravelle Leopard-print Sandals, $285
3. Coach New Hamptons Ocelot Crossbody, $325
4. Preen Line Coco Sweater, $569
5. Topshop Knitted Pointelle Crop Jumper, $70
6. Elizabeth and James Oversized Cotton Blazer, $395
7. Alice + Olivia Sequin Bustier Cotton Dress, $495
8. Topshop Suede Pleat Shorts, $135

LOVING leopard this season & army green is also appealing. Really love that Coach bag!! Chunky knits are always welcome in the fall when it gets cooler, but I’m glad I don’t like that nearly $600 sweater – because I usually like the most expensive pieces!

LOVE the Coach bag! Leopard is surprisingly versatile. I always love your picks and usually end up finding a version of them at trendier stores like H&M and F21…

oh oh oh, they are so pretty.
No5, the knit top + No8, the green shorts are my favs. The texture of those shorts is so interested and the cut it very flattering (or so it seems from that style/picture).

Great choices. I’ve seen a lot of suede shorts at Zara as well over the weekend. I don’t know how I feel about it yet. Fabric phobia fail. ^^

I adore leopard prints. I’m thrilled that fall is around the corner. All my favorite outfits happen to be perfect for fall. Unfortunately I think this heat is gonna stick around L.A. for at least a few more months, so my fall wardrobe will have to wait a bit.

This is such a cute post! I was wondering what program you used to create these collages.

  • Grace Escudero – The Afeminada

I love the dress because of the contrast between the sequins and the olive greens. Sometimes sequins can come out looking like a disco ball if not done right.

Love leopard! Roberto Cavalli has some knockout pieces this season as always. These are super cute and easily affordable! I’ll be adding some items soon to my shop as well.
