Falling for Autumn: Part 1
I realize that it’s still August and in most parts of the country it’s hot, humid and sticky and the last thing you can think about is fall clothes. But I can’t help it. Plus, if I waited until it actually cooled down, it would be November and many of the clothes I’m currently lusting after would be long gone. Since there are so many different things on my radar, I figured I’d break them up into several parts so that it’s not too much to handle for those of you that are currently beach-side or pool bound.

I think I should follow your need and start thinking about Autumn fashion now so that I am able to able purchase the pieces that I have been lusting after since the catwalk collections.
Love the sequin blazer, ever since Rachel Bilson wore a navy one I have been on the hunt for the perfect shaped one at the right price.
Also adore the Paul&Joe lace skirt as I love pretty much anything made out of lace!

I think we never even had a summer here in Scotland… I never packed away my winter wardrobe because I would only need them again the next week – its my summer stuff I need to say bye bye to pretty soon.
I prefer winter fashions anyway – layering always looks good

I have been lusting after a pair of shorts like the All Saints ones above. They’d be perfect for day or night, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to rock such hardcore sequins yet. I can’t help but look at fall clothes either: it feels like I’m doing something wrong by looking in such gross weather, though!

I can’t stop thinking about fall clothes either. I love the skirt! I want to incorporate more skirts into my wardrobe and stop buying so many dresses. Dresses are starting to bore me, and I would rather have more skirts/tops so I can mix and match.

They’re all fairly ok pieces on their own. But I think once YOU dress them up/plan the outfit then you will look fabulous.

It’s so humid in Boston today that I am craving fall right now! Utilitarian I think is a big go-to for me, although I’d love to find a way to make sequins work for a corporate setting – any advice?
