Every day Extravagance
I try to provide different price points when I’m putting together collages, but sometimes it’s fun to pull together the most outrageously exorbitant pieces. Not only is this an exercise in creating wish lists of the most grandeur fashion, but it also helps you pinpoint what you really love and uncover any themes that emerge. Case in point: I clearly am on the hunt for (more affordable) sequins, a leather bomber jacket, a edgy twist on a classic black bag, heels with hardware and strong cuffs for my wrist.

I have been absolutely OBSESSED with those Balmain boots. Beyond obsessed. I stare at a picture of them on the “inspiration” board in my closet every day.
And of course, the Chloe Paraty. I keep telling Hubs I need every Chloe bag because, duh, it’s MY NAME but he isn’t buying it. Literally He asked me if my name were Coach, if I would want all of those bags…and gasssp, I had no reply.
*sniffles*
Usually you include some great steals in the mix from Charlotte Rouse or Forever… hahah, but not today!
Oh well. Although all of the items don’t make my monthly budget, I STILL love them =)

While the buckle boots – which I absolutely want – may only be in style for a few seasons, splurging on jewelry or outerwear is (if you can afford to) never a bad idea! These are things you can wear season and after season, and you chose some gorgeous pieces — that shearling trim bomber jacket is insane!!

well once you find a more affordable version of those black bags i certainly hope you share with the rest of us – i’ve been on the hunt myself, but without much success.
If only most of these pieces didn’t cost as much (or more) as a month’s rent! Beautiful choices, though … It’s fun to dream, isn’t it?

I wish I had the money to buy a few of these. They are so amazing. But, I have to say there is something to being able to shop at an afforable price and look like you spent a million bucks. Great choices girl!
Everything that you are on the hunt for I am as well. I have had some great luck at ShopBop (purchased a fantastic leather bomber jacket w/studs), so check that site out. I am into cuffs as well, but have had a hard time trying to find any.

Of course I love all the Phillip Lim! Maybe one day I’ll come across some of the fabulous sequins at Nordstrom Rack….And that Alexander McQueen studded cuff is amazing. I’ve had my eye on that for a while.
I’m obsessed with all things embellished with sequins at the moment. I just bought a sequin mini skirt from Forever 21 which I adore. Though I’d also love to add that See by Chloe Chiffon Sequined Skirt to my wardrobe – my bank account, however, won’t allow me to!
I’ve been on the lookout for a sequined dress and jacket. Those boots are fabulous too! I’m thinking about studding my own pair of shoes as a DIY project.
