End of the Road
H&M Shirt dress, Urban Outfitters Tights, Forever 21 Ring, Derek Lam Mary Janes, Gryson Bag
This is probably the first time I’ve ever worn tights in June, but they’re perfect for those moderate days that never quite get warm enough. Plus, I’ve found that looking somewhat presentable (or simply not in mismatched sweats) while walking the aisles of Trader Joe’s drastically improves my chances for resisting their white chocolate chip cookies.

love this! i think i need to dress up more often!
I love this outfit! I always want to wear tights with a dress on moderate days.
You look so good! And somehow it makes me feel better to know you aren’t dressed up and looking amazing all the time.
Hot shoes! I also admire that ring…a lot.
Love the shoes!
Those shoes! I love your cookie-avoidance technique
love the detailing on your shirt dress, the ring, and cool shoes. i will miss your blog while i am at the beach for a week.
I have shoes that are similar and wearing them makes me so much better so I totally understand your cookie avoidance method!
Fantastic combination – love that shirt & the accessorpes = spot on.
Love H&M and love a shirt dress.
i love shirtdresses. that’s such a good look, with the tights.
Amazing what tights do to pull it all together. Great outfit!
loving the dress, i was just posting about blue tones linen dresses, totally my summer crave. and hoping to make a few myself.
Just gorgeous. I’m amazed that it’s cool enough for tights in L.A., though!
Great shoes and gorgeous ring!
so casual and comfy – i love your look! I adore those shoes by the way – love them!
those shoes are awesome. you’ve got a great collection going.
Wow, love those shoes. I’m always drawn to mary janes.
i love those shoes! and my best friend has a ring just like that!
adorable!
I SO know what you mean about getting a little dressed up to run errands. If I’m in my ‘comfies’, I’m so much more likely to take advantage of a 2-for-1 sale on Ben and Jerry’s. But if I’m even remotely well dressed, I can whisk through the store pretending I’m a high-powered magazine editress who subsists solely on baby spinach and plain non-fat yogurt!
Love the look. Great outfit to wear to work xoxox
That’s a Trader Joe’s outfit?? My goodness, you’d stick out like a sore thumb — in a good way — at our TJ’s!!
Great outfit… you look smashing.
Those shoes & that bag are perfection. I haven’t been paying attention to Derek Lam’s shoes, but I’ll obviously have to investigate.
Very cute on you, but seems kind of dressy for a relaxed, yet flattering errands outfit…especially TJ’s. Maybe it’s just me because I don’t really like to wear dark colors and black in general…
those shoes are soooo pretty!!
Oh man, you’re so very right about being dressed in sweats while food shopping … maybe pretty clothes really *are* the trick to a regret-free trip. Perhaps I’ll run an experiment, and try to remember to put on a cute outfit every time I food shop.
This is a great look. Those shoes are killing me, they’re so sweet. And the bib detailing on the dress is unexpected and makes it look a ton more expensive than H&M. Way to go!
Oh, I absolutely adore everything on you! I am in love with the maryjane/tights/shirtdress/belt look. It’s so grown-up Gossip Girl (obsessed with). I have revisited my grey & black Gryson this past week & couldn’t be happier!
Cute ring and I love those shoes! xo Cari http://isnotfashion.blogspot.com
You look gorgeous. Love the shirt dress. On your next trip to TJ’s try Pretzel Slims. They’re new chocolate covered pretzels, they’re amazing!!!
Hi there-a very cute outfit and I love your ring!
I had a mild panic attack when I saw the “End of the Road” header, thinking this was the end of the road for C&C or something equally tragic! Whew. Adorbs, as always:) xx
Love the dress/ shirt! so cute!
love love the shoes and the ring!
Nice legs! Love the green sheen on your shoes, and the black tights look fab with that shirt. I’m a huge tights fan! Always looks classy (esp black!).
LOVE the ring and shoes are GREAT!!!
okay…you look fabulous!
Gorgeous shoes! Love the color!
Loving those mary janes!

recently discovered/fell in love(?) with you.
the shoes are stunning!
But when you look that good, it would be fun to fill your cart up with junk food and have all the other women in the store thinking, “She eats that!?! NO FAIR!”
I can’t stop staring at your ring. I love it’s shape and color. A perfect touch of bright to these gloomy days.
I love those shoes! Have you thought about doing a shoe spotlight on them? I can’t tell from the picture whether that green tint is the color or coming from oxidized patent. Also, adorable shirtdress; I love the little pleats and the sleeves.
I need. that ring. it looks like a gumball!
AAH, I adore those shoes in the second to last photo.
fabulous blog you have here, love.
Those shoes are so gorgeous!
the shoes!! fabulous! and i love the look!
I am so obsessed with shirt dresses – this one is gorgeous. And that ring? I die!
great outfit & love the cute ring!
you look great! i wanted to wear my oversized shirt with tights today, but realized my tights were slightly too thin. lol. great shoes!
Oh, you’re so pretty! Where’d you get the lovely ring?
geez, tights in June? it’s 100 degrees here in Houston, I wish I could. bleh!
i really like this outfit. =)
cute outfit…especially the shoes!!! those tiny studs all around are just the best!
I adore this look. I actually did something similar a couple of weeks ago…the weather has been bad and it’s a great look that goes from winter to summer-ish.
btw, stop by my blog today…there’s a little something there for you:)
I love this look, especially the first “action shot”…very nice mood
LOVE the outfit – and i completely understand what you mean. i was thinking of wearing tights too…i live in LA too and these gray mornings appear very winter-esque!

I think the midshot of you is my favourite. Silent and original.
love the outfit and the shoes are gorgeous! i can totally relate to the trader joe’s thing!
I love that whole outfit, especially the cocktail ring and shoes! I also wish there was a Trader Joe’s where I live; I had some of their dark chocolate pistachios a while back and I just about died. Aaah, junk food… but darling, you look fabulous.
love the dress shirt. i make sure to always wear sunglasses in traders.
Love the shoes and your top!:)
I really love your outfit! Simple yet really elegant. The shoes have an amazing color.

I’ve been going through all your posts from the very beginning and I just wanted to drop a line and say how much I LOVE your shoes! I’m a bit of a shoe fanatic so your collection is making me drool a little.
In general, you’ve got a great style and I’m excited to try some of the recipes on here when I start living on my own in London in September. Keep up the great posts
