Earful of Topaz

Audrey Hepburn once said, “You can always tell what kind of a person a man really thinks you are by the earrings he gives you.” I suppose, based on this quote, a woman would hope for diamond studs, the epitome of elegance and sophistication. My taste in jewelry is a bit less traditional though, leaning more towards unexpected gems than the latest trend from Tiffany & Co. That is why Melissa Joy Manning has been one of my favorite designers for some time, creating modern designs with simple silhouettes. This pair of 14-karat gold, white topaz earrings is classic and would certainly be a compliment if received from any man.
