You also need a pretty stapler, preferably in a hot fuscia color. I had one at my work desk for a long running 8 months until someone … stole it. My desk has lost some of that special “style.” (Still never found out who took it.

I bought an acrylic tape dispenser from See Jane Work and it seriously makes me smily everytime I look at it – weird considering it’s a TAPE dispenser and all…
So, yes, I agree, a cute desk makes all the difference.

I really enjoy making all the inane objects in my life interesting an unique — so this post is especially awesome.

One of my favorite things to do in this regard is repurposing things. I keep my forms and papers in a set of vintage Garbage Pail Kids folders, and my pens are all in vintage cups!

I never use my desk, always just have my laptop on my… lap. Maybe that’s because my desk isn’t cute enough! Definitely will have to stock up on some cute desk accessories.
