The weather in L.A. has been oddly cold, which forced me to pull out winter clothes that I’d already stored under the bed. This coat turned out to be one of my better purchases this past summer (last seen here) and is great for someone who has such little tolerance for chilly temperatures. We ventured downtown for a quick breakfast yesterday and I couldn’t help but take advantage of the deserted streets that added a slightly Inception-esque feel to all of the shots.

Love this outfit, especially the skirt but this time the scenery does it for me. When you mentioned inception, it clicked. The pictures are awesome!! Emily, you have a good taste.
But since I’ve seen a lot of girls making fun of you, here’s an advice: Just talk about the clothes, food and whatever you put on your blog, but stop making those cheesy poses and pouting with your lips; it’s so tacky! It looks like you are a model-wanna-be that was told to be too FAT (or had fat and thick legs) and could never be a model, so now you create a “blog” in order to have your “gisele bundchen moment”… Not even close darling. Go back to basics, you can write well, you have good taste, but PLEASE realize that you are NOT a model, and stop doing these funny poses, I’m sorry but I agree with the girls: you are trying too hard to look like an Elle model and it looks pathetic. Don’t be Tacky, be hip. Take a good look at your pictures through the months and you”l agree with us. Good luck.

Well, hello there! I scrubbed my house top to bottom yesterday, only to find that Hurricane Devon has torn it apart yet again, and baby Blake is ready for her hourly feeding in 15 minutes. Still, I needed a break and ventured over to say hello;) You look great in these shots, Em. Especially the last one. We had 50s-ish weather today and it was SO refreshing.
