Forever 21 Top, Vintage Necklace, Glasses and Clutch, Gap Jeans, Alexander Wang Pumps, Planet Blue Ring

I’m often drawn to statement jewelry for my wrists, but when I spotted this vintage elephant necklace at the flea market last weekend, I knew it would be the perfect complement for just about any outfit.  After shopping, we pulled into the parking lot at Johnnie’s, an old school coffee shop that closed years ago, but still has its illuminated sign flickering out front.   Despite its desolate interior, the royal blue walls add a much needed dose of color to the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax.

  18. I have been searching for an elephant necklace just like that! I adore elephants and it is so difficult to find big animal necklaces. I love your blog by the way, I’ve been following you for a while now and you always have beautiful photos. Also, I really admire the tone and color schemes you employ. I would be honored if you followed me via bloglovin.

  20. Oy vey, I don’t look as good in my nerdy glasses as you do with yours.

  21. Love this!!

  22. Can’t go wrong with a lovely lace top! The glasses ruin the look for me though, not because they are ugly or anything, but because it makes the look appear too calculated. It would be so much cooler as a more spontaneous look.

  24. I think this looks absolutely gorgeous and fresh. :)

  25. I love this outfit and will be trying to reproduce it for myself!! I love the romantic flirtyness of the top with the rugged boyfriend jeans and the heels to make it all sexy! The necklace is the frosting on the cake!
