I’m admittedly fickle when it comes to denim. High-waisted styles look best on me, but they need to be worn with heels, and sometimes that’s just not doable. Skinny jeans are great for tucking into boots, but usually they’re terribly unflattering. When Marisa, from Citizens of Humanity, offered to send me two pairs of their denim leggings (I refuse to call them jeggings), I was skeptical. To my surprise, they’re tight enough so that they don’t bunch or encase your thighs like sausages, but comfortable enough to feel like you’ve left the house in your pajamas.

high waisted pants look totally cute with flats! but, point taken, it’s your preference.
I have yet to pick up a pair of denim leggings. Something inside of me just doesn’t like the idea of a denim legging. They do look great on you however. Then again Citizens of Humanity are the denim gods.

What a great idea! I just broke down and bought a decent pair of skinny jeans to wear with my boots…there’s still a bunching issue though, so maybe I should look into these!

i loathe the term “jeggings” as well. having a very small waist to ass/thigh ratio, i find it hard to wear these without constantly tugging on the top to pull them back up to where they belong. perhaps i need a higher waist style or higher quality denim legging. i just hate to fork out the dough for a pair of spandex jeans. worth the investment?

Ok, those boots are to-die-for! I saw those jean leggings in stores here. Too bad I’m pregnant and have pudge legs at the moment…or I would be the first one to grab those “jeggings” (hahaha)! Sigh….

I work part-time in a retail store that carries those jeans and they’ve been flying off the shelves – they are truly as comfortable as you say, and I wear mine literally every single day. If you’re looking for another amazing pair, I highly reccommend Goldsign – same style, but the denim is actually even more soft and comfy. And i’m with you, I REFUSE to call them jeggings. that word makes me nauseous.

Gorgeous outfit. Jean leggings are so worth the investment for anyone who’s curious. Skinny jeans just never seem to be tight enough to tuck into boots. Try Joe’s Jeans leggings. They are phenomenal and a little cheaper than the citizens.
