Comforts Of Home
When things are particularly hectic, it’s nice to be reminded of the little constants in life. Like the way Luna will always interrupt an intense session on her scratching post to help me with laundry. This includes burrowing under towels, attacking loose socks and playing hide and seek inside the basket while my hot clothes become increasingly wrinkled. I’m looking forward to the weekend that will include other traditions like cooking up a big breakfast with my boyfriend, shopping with girlfriends and celebrating the first night of Shark Week.

My cat helps out by sneaking in the dryer and laying on the clothes while their still hot…sucks that one time my mom forget he was in there…what a day…he was paranoid and loopy for a day or two.
my dog does the same with my fresh laundry! he wants to snuggle in it, wrinkling all my clean clothes!

Aw, totally reminds me of my 3 kitties…especially my 1 cat, Snickers…she attacks that scratching post like no other…and I love the cat tunnel…my cats had cat cubes but I was getting obsessive with attaching them to make an obstacle course, and decided…ehhh that isn’t the most attractive piece to have in the living room.. haha..so now they are no more! But they DO have a sweet wicker house, with detachable roof, and leopard pillow inside to sleep on…do they use it though? heck no! They prefer cheaper toys I guess…it always works out that way hahaha

Our cat just discovered the dryer – lord help me. He gets in when we take the clothes out because it’s warm – thankfully I don’t shut him in there and he’s a big enough cat to make noise. He also loves warm laundry, it’s a never ending battle to get him off my clothes – he’s black just like Luna and sheds all the time.

Aren’t cats the best? I have two munchkin cats and they are the cutest. My one cat likes to burrow under blankets. If I’m in bed, she will come up and try to get under the covers. Once she under them, she’ll start purring and just sleep. I really don’t mind being called the “cat lady.” =)

Isn’t it so adorable how pets do things that would ordinarily annoy you, however they’re so cute, you can’t help but laugh?! Paco has a way of constantly stealing Devon’s toys, plus he used to chase after anything with wheels (skateboards, roller blades, strollers) when we lived in the city. Cute kitty. We just built an outdoor house for our new found kitty. We already had two dogs but they seem to be getting friendly with the cat. She may end up indoors with all of us.
