Occasionally I find the abundance of white clothing in my closet discouraging since it’s about as neutral [read: boring] as you can get. Luckily, those thoughts are far and few between seeing as how it’s the quintessential color for summer. As demonstrated perfectly by some of these leading ladies, white tops can add an alluring and crisp vibe to any outfit, especially with the help of appropriately placed buttons, bows and ruched edges. Here are just a few of my current obsessions (ranging from Forever 21 to Miu Miu) that would blend seamlessly with the rest of my growing collection.

I can never have enough slouchy white tops! My faves right now are by vince and by american apparel (they have this viscose tank that’s awesome). But you can’t go wrong with E&J!
White’s definitely the epitome of being classic & clean for the summer. Except I’m pretty sure I’d spill something and ruin it. Haha. Great choices. =)

Oh gosh, that Erin Wasson x RVCA one is perfect – would work with shredded jeans, or a tiny skirt. I definitely need to stock up on some breezy tank tops!

these are fantastic. my sister and I were just talking today about how many white shirts, blouses, tanks we have..I buy about ten every summer it seems and then by the following summer I just need MORE. I love this selection!

I love all of the tops, couldn’t decide which one is my favourite. I generally love white and cream colours so I’m glad to see they’re always trendy. White top looks good with everything and makes the look more elegant, love it.
