I bought this skirt on major markdown at Satine a few weeks back with the intention of waiting for the right dressy occasion to slip it on. My patience started to wane though, so I decided to wear it during the day mixed with some unfussy basics (like a Panama hat and a drapey tank top). There’s something refreshing about the juxtaposition of fancy-meets-casual, even if I did get a few stares while grabbing my coffee.

I love the mix of fabrics. It adds a special touch to the outfit. Is it weird if I say I like your bra… because I do! Il ove neon pin and it matches the skirt perfectly. Such a cute smile in pic 2.

What coffee shop is that? I live around LA and I love driving on Laurel Canyon, but I’ve never stopped at any places on my drive.
P.S. I am way to clumsy while dressing myself and have never been able to pull off wearing a dress with a t-shirt of tank top on or under it. It looks great on you!

seriously? from your waist up costs $181 and who can imagine how much your prada heels and your vintage clutch cost… today’s woman can in NO WAY afford half of the stuff you wear… therefore a lot of times it feels like you are being condescending or even insulting… especially when you say that you feel like you really “connect” to your followers but you actually don’t ever respond to anyone or try to figure out what the majority of your followers lives are like. come on … give me a break! why don’t you do a poll and see how much the average woman likes to spend on each article of clothing and try to do some pieces on that…

I love the pink with the tank, somehow you made this all look new! I mean, we’ve worn pink & black for ages, but the mixtures of textures and the fresh hat gave it its “pulled together in a fresh new way” look. I hope to see more of your fashion ideas. I’d also like to see more ageless looks as you did on the Today Show today; great great presentation of real ideas. Loved it! I put orange polish on my list for a summer pick-me-up.
