Coffee Ice Cream

Our ice cream maker is probably one of the better purchases we’ve ever made. It doesn’t promote the healthiest diet possible (as opposed to say, a juicer), but the results are far more exciting. I’ve made all sorts of flavors; like vanilla (seen here) and mint chip, but coffee ice cream has been on the top of my must-make list for the longest amount of time. I wanted it to be creamy and rich, but with an intense coffee flavor, which is exactly what I got with this recipe. It’ll be the perfect thing to serve after dinner parties (especially since I can make it decaf) or simply to eat out of the container like we did this past weekend.

Some of my favourite childhood memories were making homemade ice cream on hot summer days with my dad. Totally amazing, you really cant beat homemade ice cream. Its so delicious!
This is definitely a treat for us today I mean who doesn’t love ice cream. I just wished I had an ice cream maker just to satisfy my taste buds!
Oh I cannot wait until I’m no longer living in a dorm room and able to make my own food and ice cream!

oh my word this brings back so many memories of a trip i took to europe last spring. I ate so much coffee gelato in Italy, at least one a day, it was just divine! I have been wanting to purchase an ice cream maker for ages now, what brand do you recommend?
Yummy. Coffee ice cream is my absolute fave and homemade to boot.
Coffee ice cream is my second favourite ice cream; it comes right after affogato (a scoop of vanilla with a hot espresso shot poured over the top). Divine!
