Chocolately Chocolate Chip Cookies

As far as baked goods are concerned, it doesn’t get much better than homemade chocolate chip cookies. At least that’s what I thought until I made these. The cookie itself has a great, cake-like texture, but its rich, chocolately flavor is more reminiscent of a brownie. I used this recipe and I also added a teaspoon of instant coffee (it boosts the chocolate flavor and doesn’t actually make them taste like coffee) and made sure to take them out of the oven just before they hardened. These are, without a doubt, my new favorite dessert. Just keep the cookies relatively small since they’re quite intense, in the best way, of course.

I made them last night too and we loved! Took some to the office today, and everyone is very excited to try. I ate about half my weight in dough last night too…didn’t even bother to cook them!

Like you, I have an enormous sweet tooth. It was either these for a girls’ night in last night, or flourless chocolate cupcakes… I opted for the cupcakes, since they take only four ingredients (they’re amazing). But I must whip up these cookies some time!

I had my husband make it last weekend and OMG!!!! Those things are so good. I don’t really like hard and crunchy cookies and these cookies were perfect. I love that they are sort of cake-like. I will definitely have him bake them using white chocolate chips next time.
This has been my go-to chocolate-chocolate chip cookie recipe for over a year now! I love adding extraaaa vanilla extract! These things stay soft for days

instead of chips i used regular chocolate tablet that i cut into small pieces. i used milk and white chocolate!!!

Oh my word. I made these for the first time on Christmas Eve eve and they were all gone within a day. Like I had my braces tightened earlier that day and I ate about 12 of them despite the pain in my teeth, haha. I think I may add more walnuts to them though because 50g just isn’t enough!
