This past weekend I had a bit of a freak out moment. While having tea with girlfriends on Sunday afternoon at a nearby hotel (in lieu of watching the Superbowl), in walked my favorite chef: Ina Garten. For those of you who’ve followed my blog for even a short amount of time, you know all about my obsession with her. Since I didn’t get up the nerve to say hello (or much less even speak), I decided the only acceptable thing would be to whip up one of my favorite Barefoot Contessa Recipes: her Cheese Straws. Lowfat they are not, but they’re a guaranteed hit at parties, take mere minutes to whip up and come out cheesy and flaky. Now what could be bad about that?
