I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was 18, but at the time, the prospect of clip-on earrings was downright frightening. I’ve since come around, and recently found this vintage jade pair at the flea market and it’s started a whole new obsession. Plus, we’re in between seasons, so I’ve been on a bit of a jewelry binge lately and am seriously thinking I need both this and this.

I think I got my ears pierced when I was 3 or 4, and my mom told me that after piercing one ear I didn;t want another one done cause it hurt:D so I had only one earring for about 2 weeks..after that I forgot the pain I suppose;))

cute outfit – I pierced my ears at a friend’s house while my mom was gone for the weekend. she was not happy when she got home.
I’m all about clip on earrings..especially flea market vintage finds! They’re classic and no one makes them like that anymore. I’m happy to say that it looks like lumberjack plaid is here to stay…I’m utterly obsessed with your look.

I got my ears pierced at 11, I think, and have never even considered clip-ons since. How silly – a world of earrings, ignored! Love this casual look, lady – a little bit prairie, a little bit downtown.

I wanted those espadrilles SO badly when they were around, but I didn’t think they were practical (I was a student at a HUGE campus at the time) so I didn’t buy them. Sigh, they look awesome so I am jealous! I’m also loving the plaid! I’m never disappointed by your outfits

I too didn’t get my ears pierced till I was 19. I had them briefly done at age 11 but they grew over and I got tired of wearing earrings (also I am allergic to most metals so that didn’t help).
I actually have very similar versions of both rings! I seriously can’t get enough of gold rings these days…

i love your bag and shirt!! and the dress works really well as a skirt. i got my ears pierced for my 13th birthday present. they did one and i didnt want them to do the other one. haha but i didnt want to look ridiculous. but before then id wear the clip on and magnetic earrings. my mom gave me a pair of her clip on pearl earrings from the 90s that i wear all the time now!!

i love your outfit and i especially love your hair. it’s perfect. i was late with the ear piercing too… I was gonna get my ears pierced at 18, and then like a week before my 18th birthday i decided i couldn’t wait anymore and made my mom come with me so i could do it THAT day. haha.
