Caramel Corn

Caramel corn is a magical thing. Even at the height of my most angsty teenage years, my dad would occasionally make homemade caramel corn for my friends and me while we watched movies and it immediately brought us right back to childhood. It’s still one of my favorite traditions and a decade later, I make it anytime I’m feeling particularly homesick. Since we’re less than a week away from Halloween, I figured it would be a great time to make this classic treat (recipe here) to accompany the growing stack of horror movies next to the TV.

I agree with whoever asked how you stay so thin when you’re always making new treats? You must exercise a lot. I used to make caramel corn in college, and the recipe had you mix in a whole bag of marshmallows along with the brown sugar and butter. It was a whole lot of yummy! Have a happy Halloween!
