Candyland
February 9th, 2010
When I was in middle school, the majority of my hard-earned babysitting money was spent at The Sweet Factory. Bulk candy still proves to be just as enticing, especially when it shares the same space with adorable clothes. Yesterday I stumbled upon A.sweeT, a boutique whose dresses and skirts are equally as impressive as their unrivaled selection of gummy candies. I only spent $7 on my first trip (blame it on the sour apple balls, watermelon ropes and Swedish fish), but I’m sure I’ll do a lot more damage once I head back to try on the clothes.

love the ring, i think i know where you bought yours because i got one too
I really love candy as a child! I’ve the same red dispencer for ball gums!

Ah, that is brilliant!! Great pics too!
So I definitely like to eat candy. No question there. But you know what I think I like even better? LOOKING at candy. Admiring it all lined up in rainbow order, drooling over the graphic wonder and repeating patterns of bulk gumballs, seeing it jumbled up inside a clear cellophane bag. It’s just so PRETTY–and you captured that PERFECTLY with your pics

Love the pictures! The colors are so vivid, and everything looks so tasty! I wish we had candy stores around here; the closest I can get to one is the candy bins in a grocery store!

Your post made me crave sweets!
Reminds me of the Topshop flagship store in London. They have a huge selection of bulk sweets too. Essential sustenance for a long shopping expedition!
The cutest store in Beverly Hills.
WOW! This is rad! I’m so glad there’s nothing like this in Seattle….or I’d be huge!
