Brunch and Beach
July 20th, 2009
I’m definitely what you would call a creature of habit. I like to reserve my Sundays for multiple naps (seriously – one in the morning and one in the late afternoon), long strolls to get coffee and organizing my apartment for the week. Yesterday was a welcomed change when we had friends over for brunch then jumped into their car and found one of the most remote beaches in Malibu.
{Smoked Ham, Gruyere and Carmelized Onion Fritatta}
{Our friends have the coolest portable record player that’s perfect for the beach. We provided the Cool Ranch Doritos.}

Oh those muffins and the frittata look delish!
Your photos are so beautiful!!!
Just added some new stuff to my site. Hope you can check it out!
We sell Vintage and Designer clothes, shoes, and accessories all in one place. We have some really great things up right now! Studded boots, Alexander Wang halter top, and vintage blazers. Check it out!

I love El Matador!! Its one of my favorites…along with Paradise Cove.
You always seem to have it together. Whipping up blueberry muffins-no problem. Beach day and doritos!! What more could you ask for?!?!
i’m a creature of habit too! You look great in that dress!
A SPECTACULAR Sunday…
this post has seriously made me hungry! xoxox
That portable record player is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen!!
I have been looking for a portable record player for ages. Thanks for sharing this with me!
xx,
Sam @PrettyLovely
That looks like my ideal kind of Sunday, I need that turntable.
Muffins, ocean and music to dance barefoot to on the beach. Lovely!
I love that you all had a record player on the beach! Brilliance!
fun!!!!!!!!! great pics and i so need a record player.
What a great blog! I would love to add one another as followers. Just our trying to network with other creative souls.
What a lovely way to spend the day! I think I’m going to have to steal that idea and whisk the hubs off for brunch on the beach!
Your blogs always make me hungry… everything looks delish!
Thank you for the blueberry muffin recipe! We have raspberries in the back yard that just came in and we cannot wait to make muffins!
yum doritos are my favorite! can’t wait to try that muffin recipe!
that second picture needs to be in like martha stewart magazine, or something better. it’s PERFECTION.
My girlfriends have this expression when we have the perfect day, like the Sunday you had – ‘what set the day on perfect?’
Love the Cool Ranch Doritos. Chili Cheese Fritos are good beach chips too.
ah looks beautiful xo
Such a wonderful picture of you, carrying muffins.
Awwww… I’m definitely jealous, no beach in sight where I am
Sheesh you’re so beautiful! I wish Mister would take pictures of me, he’s hopeless with my camera lol I would have so much more blog fodder though!
Looks like the dreamiest day. Glad you enjoyed it!
your boyfriend takes photos of you and you take the rest, right? i know, you’ve explained before but i forgot
my houseguests are lucky if i make coffee for them ( as least I grind my own beans, that counts for something right?)
i also live 10 minutes from the beach but never go
i need to start living la vida “cupcakes” style!
Oh! I love that picture of you (?) holding the muffins…
I just found your blog and am quickly becoming obsessed. And I’m only 2 entries in. What beautiful pictures and style you have!
Best, Calvine
Those blueberry muffins looks so scrumptious. I’m hungry now! I’m a strong creature of habit myself, and I encourage your multiple Sunday naps. =)

I love your blog so very, very much! I initially followed you here from Lookbbook.nu, but your style + fresh outlook and always stunning posts ensure i check in daily.
