Blushing Beauty
The gowns at the Academy Awards were bursting in beautiful shades of blush. I’ve always loved the color; it’s such a quiet, feminine shade and there simply needs to be more of it inside my closet (to accompany this). Whether it’s a pale pink polish on my finger tips or a drapey leather jacket in the lightest of nudes, I’m all about this color in every form for spring.

Top #1 and the jacket are devine.
Still difficult for me to like this “hip” color. I feel like it would wash me out, but the clutch and nail polish look like the perfect touch of blush for me.
nudes are so great! and they go from season to season so fluidly… definitely something you can wear all year round! i like #6 the most!

I agree that these shades are so lovely and romantic … but they can be incredibly hard to pull off! I’m leaning more towards tan and stone for spring myself.
I just saw those Prada pumps in the flesh yesterday and had to drag myself away from them because I loved them so much and am in no place to buy them right now. I love these blush colors! Perfect femininity for spring!

I’m still not sure how I feel about this nude/blush/flesh color. I LOVED that other dress you linked us to, and I like most of the items in this post. I just think it works on certain people and not on others. I liked the shape of Demi’s dress at the Oscar’s but wasn’t a big fan of the color on her. Maybe this trend will grow on me though, as most trends do

i loved all the blush…esp demi moore’s gown and anna kendrick’s gown. so divine. since i’m prego i’m all about the accessoires this season. i’m loving LOVING that clutch! and i love essie polishes. this color is a great alternative to my usual sugar daddy choice. ..there are a few other great ones that are new but of course I can’t remember the names now.

SO pretty, but please don’t spend $800 on a pair of shoes, they are just things and there is so much good you could do with that money!
I just bought the same skirt today that post #125 did, just wondering what tips or suggestions you gave her? The skirt is beautiful and I often find myself buying pieces w/out knowing what I am going to wear with it just b/c I am drawn to the one article of clothing.
I really like this shade, but every time I wear it I think I need to have more colour, I am wondering if that is just the wrong shade I am picking up or the wrong colour I pair it with – because I think black can look a little harsh against such a pastel colour. Because on other people I really like the colour
