Blushing Beauty
March 9th, 2010
The gowns at the Academy Awards were bursting in beautiful shades of blush. I’ve always loved the color; it’s such a quiet, feminine shade and there simply needs to be more of it inside my closet (to accompany this). Whether it’s a pale pink polish on my finger tips or a drapey leather jacket in the lightest of nudes, I’m all about this color in every form for spring.

Nude is one of my absolute favorite colours too. And it sort of seems to be universally flattering on most people.
These are all killer pieces!
Love every single piece Emily! This spring shade needs to stick around for a few years….
I’ve noticed this as a trend too — great palette. Reminds of ballet slippers and tutus. I tried that Essie polish too, great color but not opaque.
I LOVE the skirt! Unfortunately I live in Norway, so I cant get my hands on it… But anyway, love your blog
And the colors of this collage is lovely:)
Wow! Love those cute pieces–Nude and blush tones go perfectly with every skin tone!

SO pretty, but please don’t spend $800 on a pair of shoes, they are just things and there is so much good you could do with that money!
I just bought the same skirt today that post #125 did, just wondering what tips or suggestions you gave her? The skirt is beautiful and I often find myself buying pieces w/out knowing what I am going to wear with it just b/c I am drawn to the one article of clothing.
I really like this shade, but every time I wear it I think I need to have more colour, I am wondering if that is just the wrong shade I am picking up or the wrong colour I pair it with – because I think black can look a little harsh against such a pastel colour. Because on other people I really like the colour
