Black Beauties
Since we don’t really have leaves covering the ground in L.A., I make an effort to jump into every pile I come across here in Mill Valley. Thankfully, I brought along my favorite riding boots that I’ve been practically sleeping in since my arrival. They’re just wide enough so that I can casually throw them on over jeans, but still manage to look polished. My Steve Madden boots are no longer available, but this pair is a ridiculously similar alternative with all the necessary elements (minimal heel, hits right below the knee, buttery leather).

I love when leaves change color. It’s my fave part of the fall, but I totally understand how difficult it is to find that in LA. Send me warm weather and I’ll send you leaves?

Prettyyyyyyyy leaves! Ours are all long gone (well they’ve turned into leaf dust on the ground) and the trees are nearly bare, boo.

riding boots is that staple item that can be worn with everything–dresses, jeans, spandex, etc. must be nice seeing those leaves! The trees here are naked already.

Gorgeous riding boots! I already have one pair but find myself trying on more when I’m out…one pair just isn’t enough!
I realize this is an old post, but I just found your blog the other day (Love it btw, I think it’s one of my new favorites!!). I love the Steve Madden boots you recommended, but I can’t find them in my size. Any other affordable riding boot recommendations?
