Black Bean Soup

April 7th, 2010

The weather has been so erratic lately that meal planning has become close to impossible.  One day it’s sunny and stifling, the next it’s gray and wet. Monday was one of those painfully dreary mornings that just begged for a hearty soup for dinner.  I made Tyler Florence’s Black Bean Soup with fresh lime crema and cilantro and I was seriously impressed with myself.  Not only did it make my entire place smell incredible, but it tasted just as good the next day, served cold.

You must be a great cook, you’re always making such creatively delicious looking meals. You should have a section like your “how to” and your “outfits” where you list all of the recipes you’ve tried! I always think that I want to try some of the things you cook but by the time I’m ready to I can’t remember when you posted it! Just a thought. =)

If you like interesting delicious foods you HAVE to try Cafe Yumm. I think there are only a couple of locations but you can buy Yumm sauce and their dishes are easy to replicate. It’s all really healthy and satisfying! The Yumm sauce is addicting.
