Black and Blue
September 18th, 2009
A few weeks back, I was invited to visit one of my all-time favorite stores, Planet Blue, for an early morning shopping trip (which they featured on their blog here). I thumbed through lacy tops, flowy dresses and sparkly skirts, but ended up deciding on this slinky romper. It’s made of silk so it’s wonderfully drapy and the open back is an unexpected and seductive touch. I wore it out to dinner last night and almost felt guilty for how comfortable it was, but moved past that as soon as I realized how lovely an elastic waist can be after several plates of pasta.

WOW! Look at that back…thats something!
Beautiful!!
I think I may actually have that exact same dress! Isn’t it faboosh? I like to wear it with my little vintage ankle boots. Great post!

This was love at first sight for me…and then I clicked on the link and found out it’s called the “Adriana romper”–what a perfect fit.
How gorgeous… and practical! Love the back.

This looks so hot, the open back is such an adorable surprise!!!
That is super sexy. But elastic is better at accommodating plates of pasta than a belt.

yummy jumper.
I’ve been reading your blog for a long time and I’m often inspired by your gorgeous and classy taste in clothes and everything fashion. This post, and all of your others about food, are even ten times more inspirational to me. You are a gorgeous woman with an enviable body, yet you talk healthily about food and eating, and it’s so refreshing. It’s so hard for young women (like me) these days to forge a healthy relationship with food. Coming from a girl who has struggled with this for a long time, just wanted to thank you for the help you provide perhaps even unknowingly. I will be a devoted reader for a long time to come!
I LOOOOOOOVE it!! It’s stunning and I particularly love when you can look fabulous and be comfy at the same time!
Seriously alluring with that open vent in the back. It’s lovely.

love the openness in the back–there’s something about rompers that are childlike, yet kind of feel seductive on. at least that’s how i feel in them! ; )
