Bell Bottom Blues
April 11th, 2011
J.Crew Headband and Belt, Urban Outfitters Blouse, Gifted Elizabeth and James Morrison Jeans, Mulberry Bag, Steve Madden Platforms
I received these jeans a few weeks back, but decided to wait until we were a bit further along into spring to pull out my light denim. They’re the perfect hybrid of high-waisted jeans; with a slight bell bottom flair that makes just enough of a statement. Since I lived in broken-in boots and flats this past weekend in Northern California, I welcomed the opportunity to debut these with some of my highest platforms to go out for an early dinner.

Great outfit and your jeans are great!!

Hi! Love your outfits, you´re a great inspiration
xo from norway!
Adorable. Love your belt!
Ah I used to have a pair of bell bottoms just like that (Seven’s) & I cut them into shorts last summer! Should have realized that this trend would come back soon!!!
I like the belt especially. For me it’s mostly in the details.
Love this look. So simple, yet so well put together. Those jeans make you look so tall. I just love this look!

The E&J jeans are great on you!
Loving the polka dot blouse. Pairing it with jeans in a lighter wash is unexpected but I like the look. It has a summery, 70s vibe to it. Cute.

2 brilliant bits:
1) that huge retro headband… very cute
2) the leopard print skinny belt, genius. the weather looks absolutely fab there as well, nothing compared to the shitty tropics at the mo, its just monsoon season. anyways, hope u r well! xxxxx
