Apple Picking

This past Saturday we drove out to Los Rios Rancho for some apple picking and barbecue. The weather cooperated wonderfully – it was slightly cool outside – which was nice, considering Rachel and I were going to wear boots and flannel regardless. We also discovered another spot where they made homemade cider donuts – apparently they’re a big deal on the East Coast, but none of us had ever tried them. Consider us all obsessed.

    We went up to Rios Ranch as well this weekend. The cider donuts are awesome. Did you get them from Snow Line? It’s ironic because while we were having a girls day out my two friends couldn’t stop talking about your blog. We then went to Barnes and Nobles on a search for your book.

    Glad you L.A. folks can squeeze some fall weather in, in between the 100- degree days! My girlfriends who live there say the heat is just unbearable right now.
