Apple Pan

September 4th, 2009

I’m a huge proponent of kicking off the weekend on a positive note and The Apple Pan, which opened in 1947, always does the trick.  Located in a cozy, cottage-like shack, they serve up some of the best burgers and fries in the city.  They’re famous for their dessert too, and though I was opposed to the idea of trying my first banana cream pie, there’s a reason there are no pictures.

First of all, I would like to say that I love your blog!!! I’m so inspired by your posts about fashion and have been printing recipes that you shared, so I can try them when I can. I have a quick question…on the post ” Liquid Diet”, on August 31st, there is a picture of a cup of black tea. I love the white cup set that you used. I would really like to know the brand of that cup set. I have been looking for a white set of dishes and love the one in the picture. Please let me know. Ciao from Germany…moving soon back to US
