Apple Pan
I’m a huge proponent of kicking off the weekend on a positive note and The Apple Pan, which opened in 1947, always does the trick. Located in a cozy, cottage-like shack, they serve up some of the best burgers and fries in the city. They’re famous for their dessert too, and though I was opposed to the idea of trying my first banana cream pie, there’s a reason there are no pictures.

I’ve only eaten there once, but it was pretty yummy. We did have to wait a little while to get seats since there were 3 of us, but this reminds me I need to go back soon!

ps. There’s a diner in NY that has some of THE best burgers and apple pie that would bring you to your knees. It’s in a 1950′s style caravan complete with juke box (a la Ghost movie).

Hee hee to be honest I LOVE San Francisco but I only kinda like LA. I’ve only been to LA on business though (film related) and the whole industry kinda soured my view…it’s time for another look I think! You definitely show the beauty of the city.

I have a quick question…on the post ” Liquid Diet”, on August 31st, there is a picture of a cup of black tea. I love the white cup set that you used.
