Animal Instinct

August 8th, 2008

My apologies for the poor quality of this photograph, but it was too relevant not to include. I guess you could say I was ahead of the game back in ’86 when I modeled animal-print swimwear (with the the attitude to match). Though I refuse to wear clothes that resemble the hide of an animal, the options I’ve included below are a fun way to liven up a pair of skinny jeans. (I’m leaning heavily towards #5)

1. Kissing Zebra Racerback Tank, Cusp: $70

2. Zebra Profile Tee, Wet Seal: $12.50

3. Giraffe Tee, dELiAs: $26.50

4. Owl Racerback Tunic, F21: $8.80

5. Black Horse Long Pocket Tank, Kitson: $145

6. Zebra Tank Top, J. Ransom: $72

Would you support this trend? If so, which is your favorite?

my favorite tee is the fourth one (with the owl) because it makes you have to look at it a little bitcloser to realize what it is!

You’re the cutest little girl EVER!
And great topic, I so have been wanting a Zebra tee badly! <3

Thanks for your comment, glad the video worked for you too. I love red lips, but I prefer heavy on the eyes and simple on the lips, it seems to work best for me. Neat to hear that you do the same. :)

    Cute! I’d wear #3 and #6.

  • http://thelilbee.com The Lil Bee

    so CUTE!

  • http://hikinginstilettos.blogspot.com Ashley

I agree with your initial decision and would definitely wear #5. It’s a bit less literal because of the shape of the shirt. Although the owl in #4 is really cute…

    ok. lady.

most beautiful picture. you are way too cute for words.

I am loving the owl. such a beautiful creature which is greatly overlooked. It holds such mystery.

I hope you are having a beautiful saturday.

Cute photo – I’m hearting tee shirt number 2. Love the Zebra profile.

  • http://stylediscovery.blogspot.com/ songy

2, 4 and 5 for me. they are cool. don’t believe they will go out of fashion. it’s all about nature.. they may well become extinct.. only viewable in zoos. that will be tragic.

  • http://fatalfashionattraction.blogspot.com danz

Awwww such a cute photo! I prefer when prints of animals aren’t too literal so my favourite is number 2.

  • http://www.misscavendish.blogspot.com Miss Cavendish

I probably wouldn’t wear these any more, but I’d pop my nine-year-old with endless legs right into that giraffe t-shirt!

  • http://www.siljesfashion.com silje

Love the photo, adorable! That tshirt nr 2 is too cute.
