An Apple a Day
Yesterday, my friend Rachel, of the incredible Heart-of-Light, our boyfriends and I got up before dawn to head out to The Los Rios Rancho, an apple orchard where you can pick from over 20 different varieties of my favorite, crunchy fruit. With live music, a delicious barbecue and cool, mountain air, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the arrival of Fall.

Ohh!! I love apple picking - especially right before Halloween when you can also get pumpkins. Even though I live in the city, I also go with family or friends Upstate to pick some apples!!

I practically live by the “apple a day” mantra! Wonderful pictures. The Boston terriers especially fill me with delight–I had one when I was younger.

how fun!! when i was little we would go strawberry picking every year! I personally thought the strawberries tasted so much better knowing we hand picked each one!
Aw. I love these pictures. It was such a perfect Fall mini getaway, and it was completely refreshing. I think I went overboard on the apples, though. We got home and realized we have to figure out what to do with approximately 25 pounds of them.
You and Rachel are too cute!! Do you have matching dogs too?
Aw, what beautiful photos. I wish we had such things over here,
