Ace in the Hole
After I read this article over at Thrillist, I knew that I simply had to see what all the buzz was about at the newly opened Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Not only is their website incredibly alluring, but I now kind of need to re-decorate my entire apartment to look like their rooms. They have an earthy I’m-into-camping-but-would-still-rather-sleep-in-a-hotel-room vibe. See what I mean?
Though we’re only staying one night, I’ve already picked out the most appealing dishes I plan to order from their menu I found online. I’m pretty sure that’s not normal.
-Lox and bagel with tequila cured salmon
-Manchego cheese and beet salad
-Ricotta hot cakes with maple crunch butter
-Jicama & pomegranate salad with feta
-Irish porridge with torched bananas
I hope you all have wonderful weekends!
xo

What an amazing design!
Is it your room\office\room for the night?
I interned for Camron PR in London who does the PR for Ace!!! Amazing amazing amazing. Their press kit is salivation-inducing.
HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m so jealous. My hubby and I are in desperate need of a vacation. But we’re most likely not going to have one until the summer. Oh well, I love the unique-ness of that hotel. Have a great time!
wow this place is so cool, love their decor!
Cute room
!
Wow, that looks great ! Quite different from the hotel rooms I usually see.
Sounds like so much fun! It’s different then all the other hotels.
I always check out menus beforehand and go to most restaurants already knowing what I want. Normal or not, you’re not alone. That hotel looks fantastic, great decor and a unique theme.
This place looks amazing! Oh, your on my blog today:)
fabulous place!! and the menu is exquisite, i’d totally do the same thing. fully enjoy your stay there! xx
Paradise! Even if it is just one night. The rooms give me a Katherine Hepburn in African Queen vibe. Strong, natural and sophisticated – jus like she was. Enjoy.
Never seen anything like it.
Ooh, read about this place flipping through InStyle. Looks like a great place to stay and can’t beat the price!

I don’t like the rooms but good job on scoping out the menu before hand.

I’m excited to see what you think of Ace Hotel. I’ve been thinking of paying it a visit if it lives up to its online accolades. And it’s totally normal to pick out meals ahead of time…
Can’t wait to hear how you enjoy your stay! And I always check out the menu before I go…but of course I still spend hours deciding when I’m there!
Have a great weekend!

How fabulous! Ain’t nothin better than a bagel and lox.
And I totally feel your pain on the bikini with tags still attached – I’ve got a couple yet to debut; so sad that they are languishing in a drawer….

I just read this blog post, and when I came to the part about our hotcakes, I had to get up and get some from the restaurant–again. Yes, I paid for them. No freebees here. They’re WORTH it.
Waiting for their arrival now…salivating.
P.S. I work at Ace. Lucky me.
