A Simple Birthday

Today’s my birthday and despite my lingering jet lag, I feel great. I’m excited to embrace my last year in my 20s with a confectionery-inspired dress and an intimate sushi dinner later tonight.

I’m also thrilled to share the first iteration of my site redesign in collaboration with SAY Media. The coming months will include some fun new features and content and I hope you enjoy the upgrades to Cupcakes and Cashmere!

However, I have to comment that I enjoyed the previous layout a lot more. This looks very generic to a lot of the other blogs that are out there and I always enjoyed that your blog showed a more personal style. I can imagine that you’re gonna stick to this new layout since you put a lot of work to it…but still I really think the other is more unique and welcoming than this one…
