A Day in L.A. with Juicy Couture

Here’s the final video I did in collaboration with Juicy Couture (you can see the first two here and here).

I had a great time working on this project and appreciate all of your feedback. I hope you enjoyed the series and it’s since inspired me to create more video content as a fun alternative to just photographs.

Loved to see something portuguese in your video, the purple expresso cup you picked up is from a very old portuguese brand, Vista Alegre. Emily, I love your blog, love you and have been a huge fan since you started. With that said, I was a little let down by these last two videos. I think they both started as great concepts but I didn’t feel like the concepts were really fleshed out, like they could have been. I would have liked to see more of the clothes, details for the exact items somewhere (did I miss this?) and more details in the video. I was so excited about “the day in the life” video and was hoping we would get a sneak peek into your daily routine, but again the video fell flat for me. I hope if you make more videos (which I really hope you do!) you make them a tad more intimate. I think all of us readers would love to see a bit more behind the lens, so to speak. Love all that you do Emily. You’re a huge inspiration!

Thanks for your comment, Amanda. I appreciate your suggestions and definitely like the idea of providing a more behind the scenes glimpse into my daily life in the future. Because this was a collaborative project however, it was meant to capture more of a mood that encapsulated my blog and Juicy Couture’s vision. We wanted to stay away from simply showcasing just their clothes/accessories since it was more about the merging of our two brands, not just products. I really do appreciate your comments though, so thank you for reaching out!
